Giving Back to the Community That Gives Us So Much

Mike McQuaid is excited to announce Palmarito Properties!

I am thrilled to share that I have officially launched Palmarito Properties, a real estate company that is redefining how you buy, sell or rent resort property. I am happy to be back at Vivo Resorts and offering my services to the community here. This new company allows me to offer focussed and highly personalized service to my clients, and my commitment to helping you find your vacation dream home remains my top priority. I am also excited to share that this past week I had the pleasure of making a $75,000 MXN donation to the Vivo Foundation on behalf of Palmarito Properties. I believe it is an important responsibility, as both a resident and business operator, to give back and support this incredible place we get to call our home and playground.

The emerald coast of Oaxaca is a world that’s surprisingly diverse with a kaleidoscope of indigenous cultures. Where colourful textiles, tapestries, folk art and festivals—like the Guelaguetza and Dia de los Muertos—come alive. This incredibly beautiful and authentic Mexican town provides a glimpse into daily life, with locals who are all smiles as you visit the markets, restaurants and artisan studios. The success of Palmarito Properties hinges on the beautiful environment and spectacular services that exist because of the people who live and work in the area.

Vivo isn’t just where we live or invest—it’s part of a broader local community. 

The Vivo Foundation proudly supports many initiatives: teaching school children, repairing school infrastructure, supporting the local orphanage, even helping save baby sea turtles. When you choose to list your property with me, a portion of the proceeds from every sale I handle is donated directly to the Vivo Foundation. It’s my way of making sure that our work contributes to something bigger than a transaction and that if you buy a resort home here, your investment in this spectacular piece of paradise continues long into the future.
